Guests can indulge in the exquisite cuisine at Tre Olivi, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, or relax at the newly opened Holos Spa, where treatments are inspired by ancient local wellness traditions.
From the lush gardens and tranquil pools to a breakfast crafted with the finest local ingredients, every aspect of the Savoy Hotel & Spa reflects the Mediterranean lifestyle and its emphasis on longevity, both in its gastronomy and holistic wellness offerings.
The hotel’s Beach Club 93, just a short walk or complimentary bike ride away, provides a private seaside retreat, complete with a shuttle service for added convenience.
The Savoy Hotel & Spa remains the perfect destination for those in search of an authentic, unforgettable stay in southern Italy—away from the crowds of the Amalfi Coast. It embodies a deep connection to the land, thoughtful innovation, and timeless charm.
Savoy Hotel & Spa: A Timeless Retreat
Located just steps from the shaded pine forest and golden beach of Paestum, the Savoy Hotel & Spa offers a serene escape, where guests can find peace amid the breathtaking beauty of the Cilento landscape. The hotel is easily accessible from Salerno Airport, just 30 minutes away, with direct flights available from major European cities via carriers such as EasyJet and British Airways during the spring and summer seasons.
With 41 elegantly appointed rooms, 2 luxurious pools, and 30,000 square meters of lush gardens, the Savoy Hotel & Spa ensures a tranquil retreat where relaxation is paramount. The hotel also boasts three stunning ballrooms, making it the ideal venue for dream weddings and celebrations.
Designed by Milanese architect Giampiero Panepinto, the hotel reflects Cilento’s charm and heritage through the use of premium materials. The newly renovated rooms feature expansive terraces with panoramic park views.
“The new rooms are a tribute to our land,” says Salvatore Pagano, second-generation owner. “Every space tells a story of our history, a story that welcomes guests with the same warmth and elegance we’ve always strived to offer.”
The hotel’s lobby, adorned with saffron yellow and white tones and towering Ionic columns, warmly welcomes guests with a harmonious blend of Mediterranean and Oriental influences. This thoughtfully designed space aims to both awe and embrace, gently guiding guests toward the hotel’s key areas.
From the lobby, visitors can access Olivella Bistro, named after the spirited hen in the hotel’s garden. Here, guests enjoy farm-to-table dishes made from the freshest ingredients, sourced directly from the hotel’s garden and family farm—offering a true zero-kilometre dining experience.
Further inside, the Winter Garden provides a tranquil sanctuary where soft light filters through, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor spaces. As the sun sets, the landscape’s warm hues create an enchanting atmosphere. The Lounge Terrace and White Terrace offer breathtaking views of the garden, alive with Mediterranean aromas and arabesque influences.
Ancient palms stretch toward the sky, their reflections dancing in the black lava stone pool, crafting a mesmerizing and unforgettable scene. This space is perfect for enjoying breakfast or a leisurely drink at the hotel’s walk-around bar, which serves a curated selection of local and unique products.
Holos Spa: A Sanctuary of Holistic Wellness
Nestled within 700 square meters of intimate space, Holos Spa, designed by architect Giampiero Panepinto, blends the cool elegance of purple Calacatta marble with the earthy warmth of porous lava stone. Inspired by Cilento’s ancient wellness heritage—from the city of Elea to the Salernitan medical tradition—this spa offers a holistic approach to well-being.
Guests can indulge in three temperature-controlled pools, a salt cave, an ice room, a Turkish hammam, and a sauna. Treatments focus on holistic renewal: massages are enhanced by a signature blend of olive oil and the distinct aroma of white mulberry, iconic to Cilento. A transformative rasul treatment is available in a marble-clad room, offering a modern twist on the traditional Moroccan hammam, distinct from the therapies of ancient Greece.
Additionally, a private area for two, complete with its own sauna, pool, Turkish bath, and massage beds, offers an intimate setting for personalized relaxation. All treatments use natural products sourced from the family’s zero-impact farm, San Salvatore 1988, in Cilento National Park, including buffalo milk, grape must, olive oil, and other local treasures.
Tre Olivi Restaurant: A Culinary Tribute to Mediterranean Heritage
Tre Olivi, the Michelin-starred restaurant at the Savoy Hotel & Spa, honors the Mediterranean diet and the revered olive tree, symbolizing the ancient Greek traditions that thrive in the Cilento region. With olive wood furnishings and ingredients from the hotel’s botanical garden and the Pagano family’s organic farm, San Salvatore 1988, the restaurant emphasizes sustainability and authenticity.
Since 2024, Chef Oliver Glowig has taken the helm of Restaurant Tre Olivi. Originally from Germany, Chef Glowig has made Italy his home and built an impressive culinary career, including stints at the Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri with Gualtiero Marchesi, Acquarello in Munich, and Capri Palace Hotel & Spa and Hotel Aldrovandi Villa Borghese in Rome. His cuisine is focused on health and nature, with each dish thoughtfully crafted to celebrate Cilento’s culinary heritage.
Here in Cilento, food is more than nourishment – it is a way of life. At Tre Olivi, every plate tells the story of our land’s traditions and the care we take to respect nature’s bounty,” comments Salvatore Pagano, CEO of the Savoy Hotel & Spa.
Beach Club 93: An Exclusive Seaside Escape
Just a short walk from the hotel, Beach Club 93 offers a refined and relaxing retreat on the pristine shores of Paestum. Easily accessible by foot, complimentary bike, or the hotel’s private shuttle service, this beach club is designed for ultimate comfort.
The exclusive beachfront features a saltwater pool with hydromassage, shaded sun loungers, private gazebos, and a beachside bar serving fresh, seasonal cocktails. Guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch right on the sand, all while experiencing seamless, unparalleled hospitality.
Enhancing the experience are three private beachfront villas, each offering a spacious terrace with a private pool, a separate entrance, and elegant interiors featuring hand-painted Vietri ceramics. The bathrooms, with double sinks and crystal walls, combine elegance with practicality. Outdoor lounges and hammocks in the courtyard offer the ideal space to relax or dine al fresco.
An exclusive extension of the Holos Spa, the Summer Spa Cabanas bring ancient wellness traditions to the beachfront. Skilled therapists provide signature treatments and massages in open-air cabanas, where the scent of salt air and the soothing sound of waves create an immersive, sensory experience. To complete the Beach Club experience, the restaurant and pizzeria serve Mediterranean flavors, with many ingredients sourced from the family’s organic farm, San Salvatore 1988.
A Getaway to Cilento
The Savoy Hotel & Spa is the perfect gateway to explore the untouched beauty of Cilento, the southernmost region of Campania, where history, nature, and culinary tradition converge in a largely undiscovered area. Bordering the Cilento National Park, the hotel offers access to a coastline of crystal-clear waters and rugged landscapes, far removed from mass tourism.
Cilento is the birthplace of the Mediterranean diet, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. In this region, longevity and well-being are part of daily life. Visitors can explore historic villages like Palinuro and Pollica, taste local specialties, and experience a lifestyle deeply rooted in tradition. Cilento offers the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with nature, culture, and oneself, through its pristine coastline, scenic paths, and ancient landmarks.
